Can you save your own life? Fitness edition

Are you fit enough to save your own life? What about the lives of your family?

Mark’s Daily Apple has a nice definition of being competent (in terms of fitness):

the ability to save your own life in an immediate (however rare) crisis should be the absolute baseline for general competency

 

While general definitions are a good place to start, specifics are the next step. Over at The Art of Manliness, their article Every Man Should Be Able To Save His Own Life has a list of 5 fitness goals to make sure you’ll be able to save your own life.

Go over and give it a read. And be honest with yourself – how many can you do?
